In this position you will design, implement, test, deploy and maintain Linux-based software and embedded firmware across multiple products. You will immediately be integrated into multidisciplinary engineering teams that work with a wide range of technologies including FPGAs, electronic sensors and chemical analysis. You will solve difficult technical problems and focus on developing great code for multiple new products.
Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based software and embedded firmware for innovative scientific and industrial instruments
Build, test and tune system services
Design and run laboratory and field tests to validate and troubleshoot software
Contribute to design and code reviews
Mentor less experienced engineers
Lead and drive the development of system specifications
Stay up to date on state of the art software technologies
Bachelors of Science (BS) in computer science, or computer engineering
7+ years of CC++ software and firmware development experience
Experience developing specification requirements
Experience with developing on ARM processors
Masters of Science (MS) in computer science or engineering
Experience developing with Python, Git, Bash, Google Test, and RESTful APIs
Continuous integration, test automation, release management
Experience developing test plans
Experience with DSP development
