A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Accounting team helps internal leaders with fixed assets accounting and asset management, financial reporting, accounting research and analysis, statutory and regulatory reporting, and data security. As part of the team, you'll assist with monthly closings, financial analysis, oversight and management of controls and compliance, tax and cash projections and data security.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and/or proven record of success in accounting and financial systems, as well as analyze and deliver effective reporting of data to finance, functional, and Firm leaders to enable effective decision making. Experience should center around knowledge of the following:

  • Understanding of financial reporting (including US GAAP) within a network of firms; and,
  • Utilizing analytical techniques to evaluate the performance of a portfolio of product/service offerings of the business.

Demonstrates thorough abilities with, and/or proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by effectively working in an agile environment supporting the overall mission of the Finance function which can be achieved through the following (but not limited to):

  • Promoting communication, transparency and leadership at all levels;
  • Focusing on continuous improvement in normal routine tasks as well as ad hoc assignments by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and supporting conclusions using current data analytics/modeling tools;
  • Utilizing the firms various resources available to meet and maintain digital upskilling initiatives;
  • Meeting and communicating with cross-functional teams in order to complete assigned reporting tasks accurately and on time effectively;
  • Assisting with preparation of regulatory and statutory financial statements, balance sheet fluctuation analysis (including ratios and identified key metrics), debt covenant compliance reports, Global reporting, and ABAS securitization reporting;
  • Assisting with leadership reporting and operational analysis of transactions, including completing research, accurately answering customer inquiries, while also proactively anticipating these inquiries and reporting potential concerns that may impact financial results;
  • Delivering and analyzing accounting/financial results accurately utilizing data analytics/modeling tools;
  • Preparing and distributing various governmental surveys;
  • Providing analytical and technical assistance to all staff;
  • Preparing and distributing standard and/or ad hoc financial reports;
  • Enabling adherence to policies/procedures,drive awareness/understanding of policies/procedures and maintenance of policies/procedures; and,
  • Utilizing the Firm's standard suite of work solutions, such as Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP R3, Business Warehouse, Oracle, etc.
