Picking Clerk - Earth City, MO
Concordance Healthcare Solutions, located in Earth City, MO is looking for picking clerks for our Earth City facility. This position is to support our warehouse operations and activities. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, take pride in their work and able to follow quality service standards.
The primary role of the Picking Clerk is to locate and pick merchandise utilizing Voice Pick System or pick tickets, as well as accurately checking, and packaging and wrapping the correct items needed to complete customer orders. Picking Clerks can be found in the bulk and/or Low Unit of Measure warehouses.
In addition to locating, pulling and packaging merchandise, the Order Picker is responsible for staging picked merchandise in the proper area, adjusting as space needs may require, and reporting any areas of concern to supervisor proactively. Works continuously at achieving the levels of outstanding service that company is committed to providing by accurately picking customer orders within established minimum productivity levels.
Responsible for picking product, pre-counting product (as needed), replenishment of product, staging of product and any other duties required in completing order fulfillment for customers.
Reports inventory discrepancies and shortages to supervisor, Researches as needed to locate short product and maintain high fill rate.
Maintains product and unit information needed to ensure that the correct merchandise is being picked and packed. Maintain and grow in knowledge concerning customer needs for custom palletization and labeling. Adhere to all customer requests according to established policies.
Maintains a clean, orderly work environment. Cleans and straightens while performing general duties. General custodial assignments (including trash detail,) when needed. Follows established cleaning schedule. Reports damages/disorderly areas to supervisor.

Takes direction from supervisor of department and/or Operation Manager for facility while performing job duties.
Works proactively to foster and maintain a positive team oriented atmosphere at all times. Works together with fellow associates and supervisors as a team to promote the goals and common good of the company. Responsible for being a good corporate citizen.
Operates all warehouse equipment efficiently in a safe manner to avoid injury to personnel and equipment. Reports any mechanical issue(s) to supervisor upon discovery. Maintains equipment as assigned.
Develop relationships and excellent lines of communication with all internal key members; develop a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of the company.
Responsible for thoroughly understanding Concordance's internal processes and products;and for infusing Concordance culture into work practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required: Previous Warehouse or Distribution Center experience is preferred
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are crucial for this position
Able to work in fast paced environment and with minimal supervision
Excellent previous attendance history
Basic math skills are required
Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8 hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 75 lbs, push/pull carts weighing 75 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift.
