To support our activities, we are currently expanding our team and recruiting a System Administrator experienced in cloud based environment and enthusiastic about web application hosting and DevOps practices.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent, with a three years successful working experience, you are searching for an innovative company where you can demonstrate your learning agility and sense for responsibilities & ownership.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager in Sophia Antipolis (France), you will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding cloud based infrastructure. You will be part of a team of system administrators located in Brazil and France that demonstrate technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security of our SaaS solutions. You will work in Agile environment with distributed development, testing, client care and operational teams, bringing all functions together to ensure seamless automated change management, release management and deployment process.
Your daily tasks will be:
Manage and monitor installed systems and cloud infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability and security;
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools; Ensure proper documentation and procedures.
Support and monitor CrossKnowlegde client facing applications (SaaS), working in collaboration with Quality engineers and Software developers;
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to our customers as well as internal staff (Learning Technology Consultants, Project managers, Product owners). Liaise with customer's IT personnel for problem resolution;
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
Solid networking knowledge
Experience in AWS
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux server based environments;
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and technical appreciation skills;
Experience in the administration and performance tuning of web application stacks (e.g. Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis);
Experience with monitoring systems (Nagios, Dynatrace)
Experience with automation software (e.g. Saltstack, Ansible);
