The Office of the Provost welcomes applications for a Dean of Student Success and Associate Provost for Academic Support Services. The Dean/Associate Provost reports to the Provost/V.P. for Academic Affairs, provides leadership, direction and advocacy for selected programs that provide direct services to students and faculty and assists in all aspects of academic administration. Works effectively within an environment of distributed leadership as an Academic Affairs leader. This position oversees the Office of Learning Services (tutoring and disability services), Academic Advisement and Student Development, International Programs and Services, Experiential Learning and Career Management, the Center for Civic Engagement, and the Multidisciplinary Studies Coordinator.
Position start date as early as January 2, 2020 but no later than July 1, 2020.
Academic Admissions and Advising
NO Security Clearance
Earned doctorate from an accredited higher education institution.
5 years of progressively responsible academic administrative experience in higher education, including planning, student success initiatives, personnel and budget management.
A record of quality scholarship, teaching and service in higher education.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in working with data and developing predictive analytics in support of student success and retention.
Successful interview and three background checks: Act 34; Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance); and Act 114 (FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting).
