JOB SUMMARYResponsible for all sales activities from lead generation, negotiation, to close within specified accounts. Responsible for performing supporting tasks within the sales team. Responsible for preparing proposals, presentation materials, as well as performing basis tasks for team members and various sales related requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSecures new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to current client base.Manages the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and national/local marketing professionals, as directed by Executive Leader.Establishes corporate relationships with key decision-makers across various organizational levels.Leads interactions in a client-facing role in large, global pursuits.Strong understanding of each service line, platform, and value proposition. Often writes the executive summary and key themes for major pursuits.Coordination and governance of sales activity throughout the sales process, maintaining accurate, up-to-date information in sales database systems.Manages and achieves financial, operational and other measures and/or KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) assigned in annual reviewRepresent the company at trade shows and as its first responder to all sales related inquiriesPerforms other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required. 2 years' experience in selling role/providing support to multiple or team of professionals; ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities preferred. Experience selling to retail and/or restaurant organizations a plus.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESReal Estate license preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIESTechnically savvy with solid experience using sales database systems, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Outlook, social media, internet.Strong knowledge of is a plus.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause negative impact to external and internal clients.
