Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling all technicians to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.
- Assist Back End Manager in the interpretation of all weekly metrics and set departmental goals to achieve them.
- Monitor, tracks time and attendance to comply with company policies
- Assist in rolling out and training colleagues in all new pharmacy objectives.
- Oversee technicians ensure proper procedure is followed in all medication preparations and provide coaching as needed.
- Work with senior technicians to coordinate the daily production of assigned function including returns, packaging, picking, staging, Ekit replenishment and prepack
- Knowledgeable and trained on all back end processes and equipment in order to troubleshoot and assist in workflow
- Provides regular and timely feedback to colleagues regarding their performance, as well as, providing feedback to colleagues regarding performance.
- Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
- Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: (if above and beyond the minimum required)
- Two to four years related experience and/or training in a long term care pharmacy environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible

Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.

Work Environment: Work in a climate-controlled, smoke-free internal environment.
