Software Engineers on the Authentication Services team are responsible for core infrastructure used by all of FactSet's clients.As a Software Engineer on the Authentication Services team, you will design, implement, and manage services that are used to store user identities, and handle the authentication and authorization of users and workloads.

This role will offer both a great opportunity to be hands on in OO programming and implementation of various security standards and best practices to help ensure FactSet is always well protected from inside and outside threats.   • BS or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience programming with Java or another OOP language (C++, C#, Python, etc.)
  • A passion for web security and authentication
  • Operating in a Linux programming environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of modern web technologies like JavaScript, Vue, HTML5/CSS3
  • Familiarity with standards such as Oauth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML
