AFFORDABLE HOUSING is seeking a highly motivated intern who can assist with
financial modeling, analysis, research, and various special projects. Our paid
interns gain exposure to the key sales and finance components of the commercial
real estate industry, with a focus on multifamily affordable housing
properties. The ideal candidate has a passion for the commercial real estate
industry and is a motivated high achiever who is client-focused,
solution-driven, and dedicated to deliver excellence. This position is located in downtown Seattle, Washington.
support to the team, including but not limited to analyzing the financial
aspects of multiple multifamily housing properties in order to identify and/or
analyze lending opportunities and lending risks/mitigants.
in analyzing financial statements, rent rolls, populating financial models, and
research on the strengths and weaknesses of real estate markets throughout the
U.S. where the subject properties are located.
and interpret inconsistencies and opportunities in the data obtained or
financial models for full-time team of Loan Production Analysts, Deputy Chief
Underwriter, and Loan Originators.
Sales Force / Tableau database with deal terms for loan prospects and closings.

time permits, conduct research and create clear reports of results for Managing
Director, Head of Loan Originators, and/or Deputy Chief Underwriter.

work 5 days per week. 20 hours during school year. Possibility to continue into
