Minimum 3 years designing and implementing Citrix environments.
5 years hands on Citrix implementation and support including related products such as Edgesight, Netscaler, Appsense and XenDesktop.
7+ years IT experience supporting multiple versions of Citrix.
3+ years IT experience supporting VDI.
5-8 years of managing coexistence between disparate Citrix farms or experience with consolidations/migrations of legacy farms..
Strong background with Liquidware-Stratosphere and PVS * Advanced performance tuning and capacity management expertise
Deep technical expertise to resolve complex Citrix infrastructure issues
Ability to handle high severity critical incidents independently with very limited assistance and be the interface to the client and account leadership. Also required to provide escalation and interface with senior level vendor support.
5+ years of Disaster recovery expertise
Mentor junior and senior staff on technology upgrades and new features of the Citrix platform
Significant experience within a large scale IT enterprise
Superior customer facing and technical skills
Project Management experience
Ability to develop Project, Migration, Deployment and Test Plans.
Capability to assume the role of team leader within a process or project-oriented organization
Strong background in multiple areas to include networking, storage, Backup/restore, operating systems and server hardware.
Ability to debug scripted and published applications
Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or similar.
In depth knowledge of Wintel Servers
In depth knowledge of Server Virtualization
Degree requirements: Bachelors in IT or related field preferred.
