The Go-To-Market Specialist will be responsible for the commercialization of new innovative products for the Smithfield Foods product portfolio. This position requires a high level of energy and creativity and must be able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and manage a broad spectrum of cross functional teams.

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Business Management, Food Science, Research Analytics, or a related discipline and 1+ years’ experience with consumer-packaged goods.
Must have analytical skills using PC based applications (Windows, Excel, Powerpoint) with emphasis on Excel Pivot Tables to database queries required to manipulate & synthesize data from multiple resources to build actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated strengths in analysis and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with enthusiasm and impact both verbally and written.
Ability to work effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment with both internal and external team members.
Strong ability to clearly communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing in a fashion appropriate to various levels of the organization.
Self Starter and driven with an attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects is critical.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Proven track record of effective project management – experience managing to deliverables and milestones
Ability to coordinate groups and individuals by promoting teamwork, delegating tasks, resolving conflicts, setting goals, and evaluating performance

Strong work ethic grounded in leadership, adaptation and interpersonal skills.
