Job Description Well established, Montgomery County manufacturing company has Direct Hire CNC Machinist openings on 1st shift due to company growth. Candidates with 1+ years experience setting up and operating 2- and 4-axis CNC Lathes with live tooling should apply for this fantastic opportunity. Ability to read and edit G-code programs is a must to be successful in this rule. Candidates must have strong math skills and demonstrate reliability at all times.
Job Requirements: -Experience operating and programming a Haas CNC mill, Mazak CNC Lathe or similar mill/lathes -Ability to read and edit G-code programs -Strong math skills required -Ability to measure & inspect for correct tolerances. Use of dial calipers & micrometers -Fill out all paper work necessary to complete job -Clean lathe daily of chips, and oil machines per daily maintenance sheets -CNC setup experience with Haas controls preferred -Okuma experience is preferred, but not mandatory
Troubleshooting: -Able to identify problems clearly and communicate effectively. -Able to provide input to problem solving teams. Able to document, explain and eliminate attribute defects on customer parts.
Physical/Environmental Demands: -Must be able to walk and stand in a manufacturing environment -Body positions include constant standing, stooping, bending & kneeling -Must be able to wear all personal protective devices such as, but not limited to safety glasses and hearing protection
