We are actively looking for a highly technical Environmental Engineer with 10 - 15+ years experince, to join our team, to lead technical design aspects of remediation projects, and mentor more junior level engineers and designers. We have a broad portfolio of projects that include sediment, soil and groundwater remediation, PFAS remediation, Landfills investigation and closures, Manufacturing Gas Plants, Retail Gas stations, Barrier Walls, and DNAPL collection to name a few. Position Overview

Our Environmental Engineers support remediation programs from proposal phases, initial investigations through construction and site closeout. In this role, you will develop and/or supervise the development of environmental engineering products that meet our customer requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.

Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses. You will design remediation solutions for our clients, which includes preparing engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

We expect that you are proficient at managing project tasks independently (e.g., field programs and detailed designs) and developing written reports for final internal reviews and managing project costs and schedule.

This position would be based out of the Syracuse, NY office, or one of our other NY Offices. Willingness to travel to supplier, client, or construction site locations, is expected.

Job Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in an engineering or related curriculum.
  • 10+ years relevant industry experience performing environmental remediation design and related tasks, is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certificate preferable or ability to obtain PE within 1 year
  • Proficiency in various computer software applications typically used within the assigned discipline.
  • Proficient technical writing ability
  • Proficient verbal presentation skills
  • Understanding of environmental rules and regulations.
  • Preferable 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification and valid refresher course.
