If selected Parsons will identify an Logistics Specialist by name who shall provide serves as in-theater logistics lead. The Logistics Specialist shall be stationed in the CENTCOM AOR and shall manage theater logistics activities and coordinate with OCONUS Army Field Support Brigades (AFSB) and Sustainment Commands. (as defined in Section C.5.4 - Integrated Logistics Support).

Required Qualifications:

  • Employee of Parsons at time of proposal submission.
  • Current Secret clearance at time of proposal submission.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Army logistics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions with a program similar in scope and complexity to this TO.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience working at the brigade or higher levels with officers and non-commissioned officers.

* Gathers and analyzes data on product plans and project objectives. Provides tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems.
* Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
* Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.

* Leads a project team in the application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
* Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
* Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.
* Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets.
* Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.

Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level. Non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines established for designated job family.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Secret clearance.
