We are recruiting Mechanical Engineers for a large Rail/Transit construction program in NY. If you have mechanical design experience with buildings/facilities, attention to the small details and a passion for mechanical design and construction, we need you! This is a long term project, with future opportunities domestically and internationally, if that interests you!

With us, you can expect to be involved with various, diverse mechanical engineering tasks and interdisciplinary coordination. Our engineers perform complex design and analysis, and construction inspections, fabrication and assembly inspections in shop, witness testing and develop detailed specifications for transit projects.You can expect to reviewmechanical stress and deflection analyses, review design calculations, develop/review mechanical specifications, construction plans and specs, geometric layouts and material quantity calculations.

  • Review design calculations in accordance with AASHTO, AREMA and NFPA guidelines and support a Lead/Principal Engineer in executing designs.
  • Review geometric layouts, construction specifications and material quantity calculations.
  • Perform condition inspections and prepare inspection reports of transit related mechanical systems.
  • Witness testing and perform construction inspection and prepare reports.
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.


  • 3 to 10 years of related work experience in mechanical Engineering
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, industry standard mechanical design and analysis software,
  • Prefer Construction Experience in structures such as Elevators, Escalators, HVAC, Pump Stations, transit work/equipment.
