Position Overview:
Parsons is seeking an engineer (preferably Mechanical or Civil) to work on Water/Wastewater design and construction projects throughout the northeastern United States.
Projects could include water treatment facilities, including upgrades, operations and new facilities for industrial clients.
Travel to sites in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and potential others. Overseas work is a potential for willing candidates.

  • The ideal candidate will support or directly manage process design tasks with various discipline support
  • Work may include managing construction activities depending on project size and complexity
  • Work and coordination with contractors is key
  • This role is intended to be a growth position where the candidate will develop skills for managing progressively larger projects with varying levels of direct supervision
  • Candidate should be familiar with interpreting contractual obligations and technical aspects of typical process mechanical construction contracts
  • May serve as the primary point of contact with the client, subcontractors, and regulators
  • This position would be based out of the Syracuse, NY office, however travel to equipment supplier, client, site locations or construction site locations will be required (all travel cost are reimbursed)

  • 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field)
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required
