Job Summary – Service Technician / Sales

Filterworks USA is seeking an experienced technical professional to serve as a paint booth installation technician and join its growing team of experienced professionals in South Florida. Current or past training and experience as an electrician, HVAC technician, plumber, welder, automotive, or similar technical field is preferred. Automotive experience and/or experience in servicing paint booths is a benefit, but not required.

Qualifications:
• Experience in ONE of the following fields is preferred: electrician, HVAC, plumber, welder, mechanic, automotive technician, construction, or similar mechanical experience
• Service Technicians hired will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining automotive spray paint booths as well as other equipment in collision centers and dealerships.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Changing filters in automotive paint booths and other equipment as needed
- Diagnosing and Repairing problems in all mechanical components of automotive paint booth and other equipment
- Pressure cleaning to remove overspray that builds up in paint booth and parts
- Taking down and re-assembling existing automotive paint booths
- Painting and applying protective coatings and materials in automotive paint booth
- Identifying upgrade, up sell and sales opportunities while onsite
- Presenting upgrades and up sells to clients onsite and communicating sales opportunities to in house sales team
- Must be able to cold call past and future clients while in the field in an attempt to build client base
- Be able to communicate, prepare and transmit initial phase of client estimates to home office
- Retrieve and record all pertinent data while onsite then communicate that information to home office
- MUST be able to fully utilize smart phones, tablets, computers and laptops
- MUST be able to learn this specialized industry
- MUST be able to work as part of a team as well as independently with and without supervision
