As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Job Requirements and Preferences:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
Required Fields of Study: Accounting, Finance
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 year(s)
Certification(s) Preferred: CPA
Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates baseline knowledge of audit and accounting concepts; Demonstrates an understanding of process workflow related to work request from initiation through completion; Demonstrates an understanding of how workflow is managed within workflow management tool; Establishes high-quality standards are met by providing timely and detailed first level check of all deliverables; Understands and can utilize technology to perform and manage work; Initiates process improvements to attain optimal work flow and quality; Has extensive communication and negotiation skills, effectively communicates when relaying ideas/issues to team members, including providing feedback via coaching notes, escalating issues, and notifying availability or being in need of assistance; Demonstrates leadership and people management, effectively training junior staff and supervise teams of 5-15. After training, the candidate must be able to: Utilize the SDC's process workflow and quickly learn workflow management tools. Utilize operating guides and other working practice documents to stay current on process and respond to any process changes. Understand and adhere to quality standards
Prior engagement team experience and success in roles performing in a Service Delivery Center, emphasizing the following areas: - Participating in a wide range of projects and consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative; - Interacting with professionals globally with diverse experiences and subject matter expertise; - Participating in a collaborative team, with a focus on knowledge sharing and thought leadership; - Playing an integral role in PwC's core assurance services provided to clients; and, - Reviewing, understanding and executing processes assigned.
