A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Process Improvement and Management team helps identify opportunities and utilise lean methodologies that facilitate process improvement and efficient resource management. As part of our team, you'll help evaluate existing systems within accounts receivable and payable, financial management and merchandise chargebacks to identify optimisation opportunities.

Additional Educational Preferences:

  • Agile/Scrum/Project Management methodologies
  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Process Flow Documentation: Visio or similar tools
  • User Story Documentation: VSTS or similar tools
  • Data visualization, basic database architecture understanding
  • Design Thinking strategies

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some proven abilities and success in innovative project management roles that improve the user experience of new and existing tools using the following areas:

  • Helping overcome major obstacles by problem solving across entire product life cycle;
  • Documenting, organizing, and prioritizing user stories and other sprint requirements for multiple scrum teams;
  • Coordinating with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Scrum team members to facilitate requirements documentation and manage sprint events;
  • Assisting Product Owner in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other sprint ceremonies;
  • Clarifying and co-creating requirements for technical team members;
  • Collecting and documenting process flows in order to improve the user experience across multiple platforms;
  • Interacting with and moderating open community forums that crowdsource ideas for multiple platforms to enrich the overall user experience and communicate with users; and,
  • Assisting with marketing/advertising efforts and collaborating with communications team to drive adoption of new products/enhancements.
