The Learning & Development Sr. Consultant manages implementation of complex learning and development (L&D) solutions on a wide range of management and business development topics for various learning audiences through in-the-moment consultation, facilitation, or coaching sessions to ensure effectiveness of business and/or managerial styles. Leads day-to-day activities, tasks and complex people development initiatives, managing implementation of development strategies and solutions through lower levels. Applies knowledge of all aspects of learning and development across many business disciplines to leverage the interconnectivity of various learning solutions and demonstrate the business impact of recommended solutions. Consults with business leaders, HR partners, Instructional Design team and management to develop an appropriate essential learning path to guide the development of an overarching learning plan that drives business unit performance. This L&D Sr. Consultant will provide proactive support to the Risk and Compliance team by supporting sound learning programs that meet business objectives. In addition, this role will offer the opportunity to partner with the Human Resources team as an internal consultant in order to identify and define developmental needs which require an evaluation of various performance factors. This position will function as a primary and supporting team member related to achieving goals in learning initiatives and programs. PREFERRED LOCATION(S): Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; St Louis, MO. Open to other locations within the Wells Fargo core hubs KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Delivering effective learning solutions to audiences of multiple hierarchical and competency levels, including handling sensitive and complex topics with credibility and professionalism
Partner with strategy consultants, program managers, relationship managers and line of business partners to understand development needs, trends and priorities, incorporating them into the programs supported with confidence and flexibility
Coach team members on self and multi-rater assessment as it relates to Wells Fargo's leadership and professional development strategy; primarily focusing on coaching individual contributors and mid-level leaders
Participate in and lead projects that shape and enhance the LPD strategy and associated solutions

4+ years of learning and development experience, human resources experience, or a combination of both
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Ability to manage business partner priorities from a strategic and tactical level in a large HR organization
Knowledge and understanding of adult learning or education: facilitation and instructional design
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
Knowledge and understanding of risk management
Ability to identify risk exposures and propose solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Program management experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
