POSITION SUMMARY
The Company seeks a Global Creative Director who will be responsible for developing an iconic creative platform for CBRE and integrating it across all touch points globally. This role is critical for all creative expression from internal to external client engagement and product design. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to drive innovation and new approaches to the organization, challenge convention and instill energy and dynamism to our brand.

This position directly reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. The Creative Director will directly oversee a team of regional design teams and influence a global network of local creative and graphic design professionals. This position will ideally be New York based to be able to collaborate directly with enterprise marketing leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand strategy
Collaborate with CMO to define a new global brand position and platform to support future business growth.

Influence and lead a durable brand platform that will stand the test of time.

Partner with senior marketing leaders to build a best in class consortium of agency partners and serve as primary facilitator of all interactions.
Identity
Define brand architecture encompassing all tools, product lines, subsidiaries, business segments including new initiatives.

Create naming framework and guidelines to support business growth and brand health.

Lead adoption of new brand (creative and positioning) across marketing organization and participate in roll out globally.

Establish framework for all advertising and promotion activities including development of high impact creative. Provide direction to local, national and international businesses to ensure brand alignment and leverage of resources.

Manage in-house design team and outside vendors to provide ongoing high-impact creative

Contribute to ideation for key brand programs and global initiatives, including UPOTY and other programs
Brand systems and user experience

Develop new visual language and application scenarios across all touchpoints - print, digital, website, signage, event experiences.

Serve as global point of contact for all creative strategy including naming, visual design, voice and tone.

Contribute to digital U/X strategy and lead creative design for tools and digital systems.

Drive innovative and highest quality output across all distribution channels - voice, video, print, digital, OOH.

Operational excellence
Ability to create, adapt and govern a global brand with local relevance.

Optimize resources across internal and external agency relationships.

Promote ongoing creativity across the marketing team globally, regionally, nationally and locally bringing new ideas and learning to the organization.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
15 plus years experience with progressive responsibility in a marketing leadership role

A provable record of significant marketing accomplishments within leading professional services organizations

Strong business-to-business and business to consumer marketing experience for brands with complex service offerings and deliverables

Ability to deftly navigate within a global and matrixed organization complemented by a track record of successfully working and influencing in a fast-paced organization

Well-rounded breadth of knowledge and a quick study about the diverse dynamics of the CBRE's various business segments. Acumen and experience working across traditional and digital platforms. 2-D and 3-D skills a plus.

Possess strategic and creative prowess. A true student of the craft of marketing with an inherent flair for identifying great work, capitalizing on marketing trends, and motivating performance

Have the intuition to identify brand and business need for insights data: Commission and direct relevant market research; interpret quantitative and qualitative marketplace insights; synthesize, and translate into actionable initiatives positively effecting favorable business outcomes globally, regionally, and locally

Passion and appreciation for innovation, creativity and design

Superior organization and administrative skills, powered by a fast and careful work style

Strong presenter who is comfortable interacting with senior executives

Strong education credentials including specific degrees in design related fields

Direct Commercial Real Estate experience not a requirement; Professional services and B2B marketing experience a must

Candidates with both Corporate and Agency/Consulting pedigrees are encouraged to apply.

Must have significant and well-rounded knowledge marketing complex service industries (not necessarily real estate); creating brand value; and, delivering highly-creative business development focused B2B marketing programs that deliver exponential results.
