 Order Management Specialist US-IL-Schaumburg  Job ID     2019-3248

This individual is responsible for various order management administrative functions that include but not exclusive to: product order audits and order processing. This individual should be ensuring that signed contracts are accurate and adhere to standards set forth by Product, Legal and Finance teams, before entering into various fulfillment systems including Oracle, Zuora, and Insite.


Team members are responsible for processing orders in a timely and accurate manner; adhering to defined time and quality SLA’s, rejecting orders that do not meet quality standards; and handing off completed orders to applicable fulfillment teams.


  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure Order Management timelines and quality of work meet or exceed Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain awareness of special promotions by product and ensure contracts are correctly submitted and processed based on promotion requirements
  • Troubleshoot contract issues and work with Product, Legal, Billing and Finance departments when questions arise
  • Communicate system issues with the Tech team and work together to drive resolution
  • Prioritize workload to meet defined deadlines
  • Manage handoff of approved orders to appropriate implementations teams
  • Participate and collaborate with the team during process discussions

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1+ years’ experience in Order Management, Contract Entry or Billing process and procedures
  • Report generation, data collection systems and analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook (beginner)

Additional Characteristics


  • Excellent analytical, problems solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other sales management software
  • Experience working with Oracle and/or Zuora is a plus
  • Detail oriented , well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results-oriented business environment
  • Excellent communication skills on a formal, informal, written and verbal basis to all levels and departments
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and errors to peers for issue resolution
  • Possess an outgoing, positive attitude with strong work ethic and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and seek required information in order to fulfill job requirements
  • Familiarity with the hospitality or travel industry a plus
