A career in Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to deliver positive social impact with measurable, long lasting results in the areas of youth education, social inclusion and the environment. You'll focus on coordinating and overseeing the organisation's charitable activities, designing and implementing programmes to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all environmental regulations, and developing policies and programmes to ensure organisational awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues that affect the organisation. Our Sustainability and Social Responsibility team works to enhance PwC's brand and reputation as a socially responsible leader. As part of the team, you'll help us plan initiatives that continue to make PwC a reliable and socially responsible partner in the accounting market place, our communities, and to our existing and potential clients.


Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

  • Developing, managing and executing complex strategic programs at a firm-wide level;
  • Demonstrating progression or advancement of increased responsibilities, including management and leadership capabilities and executive presence to effectively communicate with firm leadership;
  • Understanding comprehension of the firm's business model and services;
  • Navigating and working effectively in a heavily matrixed organization;
  • Designing and building technology solutions using Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Tableau in order to automate and improve new and existing data processes;
  • Driving deep, innovative analytics on our data in order to provide insight into our programs and develop the data's story, key observations and findings; and,
  • Developing and maintaining accurate processing guides and documentation.

Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs including:

  • Creating/conveying a value proposition (oral or written) including ability to identify the issue (prepare and listen), share insight, validate, co-develop a solution, and agree to next steps;
  • Managing projects and effectively prioritizing/time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Showing written and verbal communication skills, including problem/conflict resolution;
  • Working in Client service modeled through the ability to develop work approach, project plans, and communications to meet/exceed client requirements and realize maximum impact/outcomes;
  • Providing operational direction, having a shared responsibility for strategy development in the Responsible Business Leadership (RBL) space with the U.S. and global communities;
  • Creating professional networks, building relationships, organizing and collaborating with individuals at all levels of seniority and lines of the organization;
  • Exercising appropriate judgment regarding confidential and sensitive information;
  • Using judgment to see the long-term impact of issues/ideas as they relate to PwC's strategic initiatives and objectives;
  • Managing projects to completion, keeping stakeholders informed, including initiating and maintaining positive work and team relationships with internal clients;
  • Leveraging and developing relationships to influence decisions made cross-functional stakeholder groups and be in a position to influence all partners and staff by broadening the strategy to more aptly engage and educate our people on the elements of RBL;
  • Utilizing Advanced Excel, Alteryx, Tableau Desktop, MS Office, G Suite;
  • Utilizing Intermediate level SQL data scripting experience; and,
  • Resolving data integrity/reporting issues effectively and independently.
