Saalex Solutions, Inc is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for aerospace to join our Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS3) contract. The candidate will work in a high performing team environment supporting NASA's Launch Services Program (LSP) with mission integration coordination services. Essential Roles & Responsibilities: 

  

Supports the LSP Mission Managers and Launch Directors with mission integration coordination services preparing for and during launch campaigns 

Support LSP Mission Managers with Mission Integration Working Group meetings and Mission Integration Team (MIT) activities 

Support the LSP Mission Manager, MIT, Launch Director and Flight Projects Office staff with special projects that include maintaining/enhancing LSP mission management tools and reports 

  

Candidate will possess excellent communication skills, documentation skills and the ability to multi-task while working on high priority issues. Required skills also include the ability to: 

  

Construct and maintain mission pages on LSP Portal/SharePoint  

Create and maintain CDRL, Business Operating Success Strategies (BOSS), and MIT assignment matrix SharePoint databases for assigned missions 

Develop and maintain mission integrated schedule in Milestones Professional for each assigned mission, in addition to other schedules as requested 

Create and maintain Mission Integration Reporting System pages for assigned missions 

Coordinate logistics for and document MIT activities 

Manage high profile mission readiness reviews 

Prepare and consolidate packages and facilitate reviews with Launch Director 

Facilitate preparations for multiple BOSS Gate Reviews during the lifecycle of a mission 

Update Launch History, World Launch History and LSP Mission Success metrics monthly or after each launch campaign 

  

Desired Background: 

  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Strong understanding and experience with SharePoint, Skype and WebEx 

Expert comprehension of Microsoft Office suite of products 

Scheduling experience, Milestones Professional scheduling software preferred 

Significant experience in coordinating official meetings 

Demonstrated ability to establish solid working relationships with peers, management, key launch team personnel and Spacecraft customers 

Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently 

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, be proactive and simultaneously manage multiple priorities 

Ability to thrive preparing for and in a launch campaign environment 

  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  

Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience – NASA/Launch Services Program experience is a plus 

Candidate must be willing to travel (< 25%) including up to 4 weeks during Launch Campaign 

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule to support launch campaigns and meetings across different time zones 

U.S. Citizen; Requires successful completion of National Agency Check w/ Inquiries
