Job Description


Operate AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment by inspecting, controlling; and monitoring inspection process to support product meets its highest quality per IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001, and achieving business objectives within a desired time frame by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Regular and predicable attendance required.

Verifying AI (Assembly Instructions) against AOI program and Assembled PCB to ensure the accuracy and details product build.

Review First Piece document including applicable ECO, Deviation, BoM, and AOI program.

Be able to perform X-Ray BGA (Ball Grid Array), QFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and other components requiring X-ray

Follow procedures and inspection methods according to company policy.

Be able to handle heavy pressure and priorities to meet company business objectives

Understanding electronics components such as marking, polarized and orientation

Be able to make decision regarding defective components based on IPC-A-610 standards.

The ability to fill out quality document such as Communication Form and First Piece (FP) report.

Electronics Components Knowledge

Understand the process and work flow (Router/Traveler knowledge)

IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)

Ability to read and write (in English)

BoM Structures (Bill of Material)

Education and/or Experience

High school or technical school; or 2 years of directly related experience (Quality Control) and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing environment.

Experience Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-Ray inspection criteria requirement.
