Job Description

Engineering Liaison that reports directly to Engineering Manager with responsibility of providing communication and support between the centralized engineering team and plant operations departments.

  • Conducts new product Design/Manufacturability reviews with plant floor group leaders
  • Executes ECN/ECO changes in coordination with centralized engineering team
  • Generate BoM and Work Orders within JDE
  • Provides drawing redlines and coordinates updates/revisions with centralized engineering team
  • Manages plant document control and distributes drawing revisions
  • Act as an interface between plant floor and centralized engineering by attending daily Gemba walk
  • Updates and Maintains front end process of plant MDI board
  • Assists in CAD System conversion and maintenance as needed

Desired Experience
  • Supports engineering department. Processes multiple design and manufacturing reviews at the plant
  • Review and upload BoM from centralized engineering and create Work Orders based on plant work flow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies between centralized engineering and the plant production staff
  • Coordinate and implement and ECN/ECO and drawing revisions
  • Support manufacturing staff at the plant level on all drawing clarifications
  • Facilitate and maintain document control functions for the plant operations
