Nor-Cal Beverage Co., Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Warehouse Technician for the day shift at our West Sacramento, California facility

 

Hourly Rate Range:  $15.81-20.33 DOE

Medical benefits eligible first of the month following 28 days of employment.

Position Summary: Responsible for the timely, accurate loading of outbound shipments, as well as inbound of raw materials, put away of finished goods from production line. Responsible for updating and maintaining inventory in several different computer systems by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
  • Clean dock plates.
  • Inspect products on pallets to ensure they are as described by the “Production Work Order” form.
  • Identify, inspect and store organic goods.
  • Complete incoming Inspection Stamp.
  • Operate floor scrubber.
  • Comply with Spill Prevention Control and Counter Measures.
  • Operate “Walk and Push” floor scrubber.
  • Charge Electric lift trucks.
  • Operate baler.
  • Inventory Control cleaning inspection checklist.
  • Check emails.
  • General
    • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Unload/Load trailers.
  • Receive and inspect packaging materials.
  • Segregate non-conforming products and materials and ensure they are placed on hold.
  • Receive raw ingredients.
  • Pre-stage materials per shift for each line.
  • Unload/Load trailers.

  • Receive raw ingredients.
  • Perform cycle count for materials and Ings.
  • Dispose of trademark materials and provide documentation to Supervisor.
  • Segregate non-conforming products and materials and ensure they are placed on hold.
  • Follow chemical receiving and storing requirements.
  • Pre-stage materials for Production.
  • Pre-stage customer stock transfers.
  • Print Dock View delivery schedule for Bay 5, 1955 and Door 1.
  • Competency and attainment determined by job performance.
  • Strong ability to work unsupervised.
  • Assist with training Inventory Control Materials group.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.; three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Warehouse experience in the Beverage industry preferred.
  • Single and double forklift certification.

 

Language Skills: English is required, and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
