Your duties and responsibilities can include, but are not limited to any of the following:
Night watchman responsibilities
Operation of construction equipment (skid steer)
Assist with mooring vessels
Assist with offloading of cargo (connecting hoses)
Operation of conveyor system
Supervise loading of products at the truck racks
Gauging of oil tanks
Assist with maintenance of grounds, buildings and/or equipment
Participate in oil spill response drills
Operation of boiler
Electrical repairs (with suitable license as required)
Welding (with suitable training/certification as required)
Other duties as required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as a general laborer
Knowledge of basic math
Licenses/certifications as required for some operations
Basic computer knowledge
Valid driver’s license
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to obtain Government Issued TWIC card.
Physical activity/strength requirements are demanding and may include:
Standing up to 75% of the day
Lifting up to 50 lbs (i.e. steel parts, spouts)
Carrying up to 50 lbs (i.e. oil, parts, tools)
Pulling up to 75 lb capacity (i.e. mooring lines)
Extended climbing (i.e. tank ladders/stairs/ramps
