Title: Analyst - Quality Assurance

Location: Curitiba, Brazil

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment, where their voice is highly valued. We are looking for an experienced quality engineer that can help our team make the jump from a manual methodology to one which is primarily automated.

  • Create, maintain and execute test automation scripts
  • Collaborate with software engineering as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of product defects
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in building complex test plans and test scripts
  • Must be a creative thinker when devising test strategies
  • Work with the scrum team to ensure that all stories have well defined acceptance criteria, test plans, and any hooks needed to enable testability
  • Understanding of TDD methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.
  • 2-3 years of hands on experience with front and back end automated testing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) with a primary focus on Agile methodologies (SCRUM, or SAFe).
  • Solid understanding of product features and user scenarios to be converted to automation
  • Experience in analyzing web applications and writing test cases based on current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements do not exist.
  • Strong proficiency with at least one high-level programming or scripting language: Python (most preferred) or Java or C#
  • Good knowledge of test management and issues tracking systems (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
  • Experience with building an automation framework from scratch.
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with Page Object Model Framework or other Open Source Test Automation frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems (GitHub)
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Docker)
  • Experience with TDD methodology / Unit testing
  • Have significant experience and willingness to work with other teams such as development, product and release teams
  • Excellent communication skills
