Job Description


The Regional Vice President – M&O (could also be a SVP) is responsible for developing, executing and delivering the sales strategy and goals for the M&O team (Management Company and Ownership groups).  The candidate will oversee the sales functions for both channels.  Together with his or her teams, the Regional Vice President – M&O will collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Finance to create and execute business strategies that will deliver forecasted sales and market share for the business.


  • Develop and execute long term strategy for the M&O channels
  • Influence senior product management team to identify needs for M&O customers / channel and help bring new products to market
  • Recruit and direct a team of field sales professionals, located nationally
  • Establish and achieve annual and monthly sales targets Sales Manager, and Directors of Sales
  • Develop an ongoing three-to-five-year multi-channel sales plan by product and market mix
  • Work closely with appropriate TravelClick personnel to ensure TravelClick products are accepted, understood, and evangelized throughout the company and in the marketplace
  • Accurately forecast and maintain a robust sales pipeline both personally and for direct reports sufficient enough to exceed annual sales targets
  • Lead and coach sales staff to achieve or exceed annual sales forecasts for region
  • Identify customer, product, and sales staff incentives to promote and accelerate achievement of sales goals
  • Ensure sales staff are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales tools/skills required for success
  • Directly manage highly complex, very strategic high-profile customer accounts, as appropriate
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications


The Regional Vice President – M&O will be leading and developing their designated channel’s.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B technology sales management, with expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, as well as P&L responsibility
  • Up to 75% travel required

Additional Characteristics

  • MBA preferred
  • Hospitality experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated negotiations experience, particularly in putting together creative and complex sales structures designed to achieve the organization’s strategic initiatives and profitability goals
  • Relevant experience in hotel distribution strategies and technological initiatives
  • Marketing experience a plus
  • Comfortable with a team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
