Job Description

Major Duties / Responsibilities

  • Sell petroleum products to established commercial accounts as well as new customer account development.
  • Maintain and grow Commercial fuel sales activity as well as grow and maintain commercial existing business.
  • Maintain daily pricing for quote customers.
  • Organize sales territory and maintain regular face-to-face customer call cycle including cold calling.
  • Review and track sales volumes and margins and report sales activities to management on a weekly basis.
  • Facilitate coordination between customers, customer service representatives and delivery operations to fulfill customer expectations.
  • Ethical and professional representation of Coen Energy and our products, services and programs to customers and prospects.


Education / Experience / Skill Requirements:

  • BA/BS or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience; petroleum industry experienced strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while simultaneously relating to customers, outside contacts and fellow employees.
  • Travel required throughout assigned sales territory.
  • Strong computer literacy required including Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience with SalesForce CRM a plus.
