We are seeking an Multi-Line Insurance Agent who is currently licensed in Property and Casualty to join our team. This person will be responsible for growing the business from the ground up by building relationships, gaining trust and networking within the community.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow business through aggressive product sales, upselling and renewals.
Establish client relationships and respond to client questions and inquiries.
Develop leads, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
Prepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close new business.
Develop and strengthen networking relationships with Small Business owners, such as Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders/Brokers and Retailers.
Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
Follow up on Personal and Commercial leads from subsidiaries for closing.
Maintain a strong work ethic.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, insurance or business ownership.
Possess a resident state property and casualty insurance license and willing to obtain life and health license. Multi-state licenses a plus.
Prior management experience, preferable in financial or insurance product sales (life, property and casualty, other).
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Quality candidate is one with a proven insurance sales record looking to expand to an independent agency with more support.
Willingness to take your career path to the next level and build a team.
Experience with Applied Epic agency software.
Potential to transition from employee agent to agency manager.

Essential Physical Requirements
Must be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time.
Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work on a standard computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a cubical environment during the workday with limited or no distraction.
