Nor-Cal Beverage Co., Inc. is seeking a Corporate Production Planning Manager for our West Sacramento, California facility

Summary: Working in Production Planning Department coordinating all aspects of production planning. Create an efficient schedule by working with internal and external customers. Responsible for monitoring and scheduling of multiple production lines, and overseeing the ordering of all raw materials for the production lines. Communicates with customers and suppliers and maintains planning systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
Responsible for production scheduling support and guidance for both Anaheim and West Sacramento facilities.
Work closely with Production Operations to ensure production schedules are clearly communicated and as efficient as possible.
Manage employees in different locations.
Oversee and monitor schedules for all production lines ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient schedule writing.
Communicate with customers on all aspects of their production schedule and problem solves any issues.
Monitor releasing of all raw materials to ensure orders are completed, ordering is within specification, and ordering per customers’ requirements.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure proper documentation and delivery requirements are being followed.
Monitor on hand inventory to remove any aged stock and confirm levels are kept at a minimum level.
Work closely with Inventory Control Manager on all aspects of raw material inventory including current levels, space used, and delivery schedules, as well as maintaining interdepartmental satisfaction.
Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance on scheduled and unscheduled work to be done on the production lines and understand its impact on production scheduling.
Work closely with Sales Team on validation and implementation of new customers.
Set up all new items in multiple Operating Systems.
Set up and maintain all Work Orders.
Set up and maintain Batch Summary Sheets.
Oversee Holds Process for accuracy and completion.
Provide various reporting to Management.
Run daily production meetings.
Identify and implement ways to improve efficiencies of the production schedule and daily tasks.
Complete accurate work in Avail, ILS, Deacom, and/or SAP systems.
Complete KRONOS for all direct reports.
Cross train on your area as needed.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred;
Minimum of 5 years general office experience required;
1-2 years’ experience managing a team preferred;
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be computer literate.
Experience with the following systems preferred: SAP, AS400, Avail, ILS, MS Office.
Language Skills: English required.
