    A typical week as a Learning Designer:
    The Learning Designer is a critical member of the Academic Services team, working hand in hand with faculty and SME's, in the creation of online programs at top tier Universities. In addition to course design, you are coaching faculty on best practices. Every week is different, with lots of variety and a good mix of independent projects and work with faculty to explore new solutions. We're a tight knit group (smart and resourceful too!), who enjoy what we do, who we do it for, and the team we do it with.

    Must have's:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field
  • Some experience in teaching or Instructional/Curriculum Design
  • Background in Learning Theory and Online Instructional
  • Ability to apply online pedagogy
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can successfully navigate working relationships with colleagues and clients (faculty, SME's)
  • Competency with CMS systems such as Blackboard, Angel, D2L, eCollege, or Moodle
    May have's:
  • Worked in a University setting; adjunct/full time faculty OR teaching/learning center
  • Background in corporate training
  • A good storyteller! (ability to bring content to life)
