Boardwalk Pipeline Partners is looking for an Operations Analysis Engineer for the Houston, TX office.
In this role, you will support operational cost saving objectives by identifying reliability improvement options and efficiency opportunities for Gulf Crossing, Coastal Bend, and Gulf South as well as utilize pipeline stimulation to determine operational capabilities of Gulf Crossing, Coastal Bend, and Gulf South, including evaluating volumetric impacts for scheduled/unscheduled facility outages, in-service restrictions, and pipeline restoration/abandonment projects to minimize adverse financial and customer impacts. You will also develop and implement real-time and predictive gas quality monitoring methods for Coastal Bend and perform capacity scheduling processes to determine Gulf South volumetric service levels that can be provided for the five NAESB daily nomination cycles given changing pipeline operational limitations. In addition, you will recommend pipeline facility modifications and operating changes that maximize operational capacity to effectively satisfy customer requests and enhance revenue and develop pressure and flow rate of change guidelines to support leak and/or rupture identification by Gas Control. Finally, you will support system optimization process improvements via automated computer applications and effective database utilization.
