A typical day as a V&V Analyst/Engineer V may include:
Supports AMEWAS V&V team member for the Integrated Battlespace Simulation & Test (IBST) Department/Modeling and Simulation (M&S) division for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Joint Simulation Environment (JSE).
Supports daily communications with V&V customers/SME’s, JSE Development Team representatives, and supporting sub-contractors (i.e.: IDA, BGI, and GTRI).
Support duties as the V&V JSE Threat and Friendly (TAF) Functional Team Lead (FTL) to include: --Reviews Intelligence reports for aircraft weapons for requirements development.
-Develops F-35 JSE/TAF V&V plans, reports, data collection plans, data gap analysis, and risk assessment documentation.
-Develops Validation Test Design (VTD), Validation Test and Analysis Plans (VTAP) and reporting documents for F-35 JSE component/system level evaluation.
-Supports development of JSE Test Plans and Test Cards for event execution.
-Conducts/attends Planning and Reporting Team (PRT) meetings, Data Working Groups (DWG’s), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM’s) as required.
Supports as F-35 Test/Resource Manager during V&V chamber testing events.
Provides technical inputs and develops presentations materials for customers as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience or acceptable educational substitution
DoD Secret security clearance
Education and Certifications:
BS in Engineering or Science

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
