The J. Paul Leonard Library at San Francisco State University invites applications for a tenure-track Arts and Humanities Librarian position at the rank of Senior Assistant or Associate Librarian. The Arts and Humanities Librarian will serve as the library's liaison to departments and programs in the arts and humanities disciplines, providing research assistance, instruction, outreach, and collection development services to students, faculty, and staff primarily in the College of Liberal and Creative Arts (http://lca.sfsu.edu/academics). In addition, library faculty members are expected to engage in scholarship and service to the university and the profession. Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution or an appropriate equivalent is required. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
