Job Summary:
The JR. system administrator acts as frontline support in troubleshooting user and customer related user issues. This position will also be responsible for Documentation, Internal projects, client projects and reports to the Information Technology Director
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Set up equipment for employee use, on or offsite, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables/peripherals, operating systems, or appropriate software
• Provides technical support for Mobile phones, Laptops, VPNs, and Application synchronization
• Maintain hardware and software inventory
• Develop training materials and procedures, or train users and peers in the proper use of hardware or software
• Oversee the daily performance of computer and network systems
• Administer the creation and deletion of user accounts as needed among the varying systems
• Able to troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues and contact vendors for support, as needed, to remediate
• Prioritize multiple tasks and escalate issues as needed
• Monitor appropriate procedures to safeguard systems from physical harm and viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data
• Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud solutions is preferred.

· Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including peripheral devices.
· Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP
· Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access (programming in vba)
· Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
· Telecommunications — Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
· Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services; based on client needs.
· Public Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
· Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
· Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
