Los Angeles Metro Area - California

Well Established Industrial Weighing Equipment Distributor Seeking Heavy Capacity Scale Service Technician with active duty military experience.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Full Time Employment, 40 plus hours per week, some Travel ( Company paid )

Company Vehicle & Full Benefits provided
Must have a CDL/Class B driver's license.


JOB SUMMARY:

  • Primary inspector and technician for truck and rail scales
  • Perform or assist with set up, installations, basic repairs and maintenance of weighing equipment and related products
  • Work in a variety of environments
  • Will work independently as well as with others

Job Requirements

TASKS/DUTIES:

  • Preventative maintenance and inspection of truck and rail scales using heavy duty test truck
  • Analyze routine equipment problems and make field corrections
  • Electronic /Mechanical repair
  • Interface with customers to supply technical assistance and support


REQUIREMENTS:

  • CDL/Class B driver's license.
  • Read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Good communication skills
  • Operate or learn to operate a forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to perform bending and repetitive motions
  • Electrical and mechanical experience
  • Knowledge of communication devices - including RS232, Ethernet connection, analog outputs, electronic and electrical controls - a plus
  • Military Veteran preferred, ideal candidate has PMEL MOS


Requires valid California driver's license and Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
Must be 18 years old
Must be willing to take a drug screen
