S trategy is where you'll help us develop plans to shape an exciting future for Mondelēz International. Working with our excellent team of strategy professionals, you'll diagnose key business growth drivers, set strategic direction for the future, prioritize our growth initiatives, and partner with our business teams to implement our growth plans.

Senior Manager, Global Consumer Insights is a key role within our Strategy, Insights, and Analytics (SIA) team, partnering closely with the Marketing community to advance consumer-centricity in building iconic global brands and in achieving creative excellence at Mondelēz. Reporting to the Director, Global Brand Insights, you will steer Oreo, belVita, and Trident globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Brand Leaders to identify consumer behaviours, wants and needs; new consumer segments (now, next and future); and market trends.
  • Provide strategic counsel to Brand Leaders, such as developing data-driven points-of-view on topics, steering strategic roadmaps and creating compelling arguments to develop and evolve our brands;
  • Create and deploy Insights Toolkits and Playbooks in building iconic brands, providing global support to codify and scale leading methods that inspire continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness;
  • Be a representative of a culture of deep empathy for the current consumer as well as for the aspirational growth targets that are internalized by business partners across the globe and become a foundational element for key decisions;
  • Be part of a 'test and learn' continuous feedback loop across our on-line and off-line marketing vehicles to identify opportunities for targeted messaging and audiences;
  • Diagnose forward-looking brand health indicators and barriers across the consumer experience journey and provide recommendations to maximize awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention;
  • Evangelize meaningful insights that connect the dots across human behavior, creative excellence, and business strategy.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred;
  • Direct experience working across developed and emerging markets, effectively liaising across countries and cultures;
  • Experience in driving a digital transformation in insights in order to operate at the cutting-edge of technology and shape future interactions with consumers.
Someone who's successful in the role will be:
  • 10 years of progressive insights roles with a significant stint in brand building;
  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience or Agency planner who is considered best-in-class in building iconic brands;
  • Obsessed with building iconic and consumer-centric brand experiences (experience in Laws of Growth is a plus);
  • Role models passion and empathy for consumers, has strong cultural awareness, and is a global citizen;
  • Possesses a strong bias for action, driving strategic outcomes through influence, collaboration & organizational savviness;
  • Proficient in best-in-class digital insights tools/practices and can successfully deploy in a complex and highly-matrixed organization;
  • Values brevity and impact over data-dumps and long-winded decks;
  • Strong team player, collaborative, and influential.
