As part of our Corporate & Government Affairs (CGA) team, you'll shape and tell our company story and act as an advocate for growing our business responsibly. You will help build the Mondelēz International corporate brand and reputation, both globally and locally.

The Associate Manager, MDLZ Foundation & Community Involvement is responsible for developing and implementing community engagement and employee volunteer programs that protect and enhance Mondelēz International's reputation and drives the company's strategic priorities of helping communities thrive. Role requires strong collaboration, communication and project management skills. Program oversight includes contract and budget management responsibilities of the company's community and volunteer programs; as well as support to the Foundation and its strategic initiatives. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Global Well-being and Community Involvement, as well as works closely and collaborates with the Manager of the Foundation, the Community Involvement Coordinator and the Corporate Communications team.

Main Responsibilities:

Community Involvement Management

Lead and promote enterprise-wide community involvement and employee volunteer program, Impact4Good, collaborating with various internal stakeholders; and oversee the Community Champion employee ambassadors global network.
Manage and administer the Humanitarian Aid and global disaster relief funds and grants; support the Community Involvement Coordinator on execution of U.S. matching gifts program; and coordinate with business units on cash and in-kind/product donations.
Oversee and manage Joy Ambassadors, MDLZ's skill-based volunteer program that supports the company's Cocoa Life sustainability program.
Establish benchmarks for programs, including on-going tracking and reporting of employee volunteer hours, # of employees and projects; corporate charitable contributions (cash and non-cash/in-kind); and expenditure of disaster relief.
Manage community and employee engagement technology solutions, working with third party technology vendors, including Cybergrants, Blackbaud MicroEdge and Wespire.
Manage internal Community Involvement team sites (SharePoint sites) and Champion communications. Work with corporate internal communications team on engaging communication and story content.
Manage relationships and memberships with philanthropy, community engagement and volunteerism based organizations.

MDLZ Foundation Support

Support the Foundation Manager in day to day contact with Foundation partners as needed
Collect data and analyze key performance metrics for environmental and social initiatives across the Foundation programs. Specifically, review Healthy Lifestyle Foundation partners' quarterly reports and progress against KPIs; and aggregate data for global reporting.
Maintain and update Foundation promotional materials (e.g. factsheets, infographics, Foundation partner programs factsheet). Coordinate with external communications team on promoting MDLZ volunteerism efforts.
Serve as point person for filling out external indices and surveys regarding the Foundation's philanthropic, community engagement and employee volunteerism efforts (e.g. DJSI Philanthropy, CEB, Chronicle of Philanthropy)
Lead on award application submissions to obtain external recognition for Foundation and community involvement programs

Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications and employee engagement programs (including work place giving and community employee volunteer programs), non-profit management, corporate social responsibility, and/or volunteer program management.

Excellent writing, verbal communication, organizational and project management skills, including the ability to understand and articulate key corporate business initiatives.

Strong organizational and planning skills, combined with a high degree of initiative to be able to conceptualize, manage and complete multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.

Experience in developing and implementing communications plans and strategies.

Highly-proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and familiar with Cybergrants (or other similar grantmaking platforms) as well as Blackbaud MicroEdge and Wespire.

Strong team player and proven ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with teams across the organization

Ability to manage external resources and relationships (i.e., agencies, designers, digital producers, photographers, technology vendors etc.).

Ability to execute results flawlessly for highly visible activities on tight deadlines.

Experience working effectively with senior management.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in communications, business corporate social responsibility and/or corporate affairs. Corporate Social Responsibility certificate a plus
