The UX Architect will be an integral part of the Reservations Solutions Team, who work collaboratively with the Product, Development, and Testing teams.


We are looking for an outstanding User Experience Architect to join our team in New York, NY. You will design gorgeous and intuitive user interfaces using your comprehensive knowledge visual design expertise; capacity for creating engaging, highly usable and intuitive designs and layouts; Utilizing your amazing talents, creativity and determination to do better than you’ve done before. What you design will be used by real people, every day, all over the world. We're looking for unique individuals who not only have the vision and artistic talent to imagine a great UI UX User Experience. At the same time, we’ll count on your excellent communication and organizational skills to liaise with colleagues, clients and fellow vendors to get the job done. This is a very dynamic position, requiring the ability to stay on top of several projects simultaneously. This is a high-intensity position, providing a great growth opportunity for a motivated candidate. We are looking at very rapid expansion for our company and are looking for someone to take the lead on our UI design.


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements.
  • Create process flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications.
  • Request and drive user research/usability tests as needed.
  • Present design work to the product team, engineering team, and external partners for review and feedback.
  • Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards at TravelClick.
  • Partner with highly technical development teams for product launch.
  • Handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience creating websites for mobile and tablet devices.
  • Experience with user experience/responsive design.
    • Current in standard methodologies for mobile and tablet design, as well as working knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
    • Proficiency in Sketch, Prototyping tools and Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop.
    • Strong experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design.
  • Experience creating wireframes.
  • Strong understanding of mobile best practices.


Additional Characteristics

  • Component design experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
  • Understanding of CSS2+ (preferred).
  • Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (preferred).
    • Understanding of Bootstrap code principles.
    • Good handle of visual design systems like Bootstrap and/or Material Design.
  • Analytical mind with strong business acumen, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
