The Regional Vice President of Sales – Central Territory is responsible for developing, executing and delivering the sales strategy and goals for the Southwest TravelClick sales team, and will oversee the sales functions for the regional area. Together with his or her direct reports, the Regional Vice President of Sales will collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Finance to create and execute business strategies that will deliver forecasted sales and market share for the business.


  • Establish and achieve annual and monthly sales targets to be personally closed/won
  • Establish individual sales targets for direct reports
  • Develop an ongoing three-to-five-year multi-channel sales plan for territory by product and market mix
  • Work closely with appropriate TravelClick personnel to ensure TravelClick products are accepted, understood, and evangelized throughout the company and in the marketplace
  • Accurately forecast and maintain a robust sales pipeline both personally and for direct reports sufficient enough to exceed annual sales targets
  • Lead and coach current sales staff to achieve or exceed annual sales forecasts for region
  • Identify customer, product, and sales staff incentives to promote and accelerate achievement of sales goals
  • Ensure sales staff are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales tools/skills required for success
  • Directly manage very large, high-profile customer accounts, as appropriate
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications


The Regional Vice President of Sales will be leading and developing their designated region’s sales team. Basic Qualifications 

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B technology sales management, domestically and internationally, with expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, as well as P&L responsibility
  • 75% travel required

Additional Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Hospitality experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated negotiations experience, particularly in putting together creative and complex sales structures designed to achieve the organization’s strategic initiatives and profitability goals
  • Relevant experience in hotel distribution strategies and technological initiatives
  • Marketing experience a plus
  • Comfortable with a team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
