The ECU Technician shall provide all ECU functions IAW all current regulations, Logistics Materiel Control Activity Operation Instruction, to include:

(a) Notify the Equipment Accountability Element (EAE) of Base Supply within 10 days for all equipment subject to Equipment Authorization Inventory
Data (EAID) control that had been received from sources other than Base Supply
(b) Receive, prepare and process documents to establish accountability for all EAID controlled items received from sources other than through the base
supply activity (i.e., GPC purchase, AF Form 2005, AFMC Form 36, AF Form 9, and DD 1348-6)
(c) Monitor appointment of Sub-custodians. Notify the COR whenever vacancies appear for any primary or alternate sub-custodians
(d) Produce new Custodian Equipment Listings upon request (annually at a minimum) for the sub- custodians. Manage and coordinate the inspection
of all sub-custodian accounts throughout the year IAW Current Supply Regulations
(e) Perform custodian and supply representative orientation and briefing. Maintain a plan to include those items listed in AFMCI 23-201. Schedule and
conduct briefings throughout the calendar year. Document each sub-custodian's compliance with requirements found in AFMCI 23-201
(f) Establish accountability for Non-Equipment Authorization Inventory Data, (Non-EAID)
(g) Annually review lease, loan and donation agreements of Government equipment to non-Government agencies (NGA)
(h) Process non-accountable/accountable turn-in items from custodians in the specified fifteen (15) workday timeframe. Turn-in to base supply activity.
Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO) or other recipients identified by AFMCI23-203, Excess Non-National Stock (NSN) Research, Development,
Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Equipment as scheduled IAW AFMAN 23-110, USAF Standard Base Supply System, Vol 2, Part Two, Chapter 13
(i) Coordinate delivery and removal of waste disposal units with the government representative when the amount of waste/scrap in the warehouse/yard
exceeds the capacity of one waste disposal unit. Review of waste/scrap shall be conducted weekly
(j) Provide forklift support to Air Force Personnel and LMCA customers
(k) Maintain Document Control for all LMCA documentation IAW Onsite File Plan
(l) Any additional duties as required 


 Minimum 6 years experience as member of Equipment Control Unit team at USAF or other DoD agency activity. Experience USAF material receipt,
inventory, accountability and reporting procedures
- Experience in the operation of varies types of Forklifts
- Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), and record data bases.
- Familiarity with AFRL/Edwards AFB work environment and operating processes and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED certificate. 

- Current Security clearance preferred, however candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
