Customer Service & Logistics
Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.
Purpose of Role
The Network Sourcing Analyst reports to the Sourcing Manager. The purpose of the role is to optimize the Finish Goods flow within the US Network worth $6 Billion Net Revenue, delivering our Case Fill Rate (CFR) commitment against agreed costs. The Network Sourcing Analyst's primary goal is to support the Sourcing Manager by analyzing and reporting transportation and warehousing data, both historically and future looking to find ways to drive better service and costs through improving critical Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). The role is a key link between the Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) and Product Supply organizations within Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). The Network Sourcing Analyst must have high learning agility, and is expected to establish working partnerships with many cross-functional ISC team members at various levels.
Analyze approx. 2000 lanes between Plants, Regional Distribution Centers (RDC's), Branches, External Manufacturers (EM's) and Repackers, and understand what are the key drivers for the moves.
Create user friendly reports that summarize data, and lead to decision statements driving service &/or costs improvements.
Support the monthly cross functional Sourcing Meeting (Sourcing, Transportation, Replenishment, Capacity Planning, Supply Planning and Finance).
Collaborate with Capacity Planning, CS&L, LogOps and CoE (Center of Excellence) teams, ensuring stock holding locations are planned correctly, controlling flow of Finished goods and safety stock settings.
Support key common KPI's that unite Supply Planning, CS&L, LogOps and Planning CoE in order to highlight risks and opportunities.
Create, Build and maintain forward-looking reports identifying capacity/cost issues in transportation, or warehouse capacity.
Regenerate quarterly Break-Even Analysis via updating transportation & warehouse handling rates on all origin templates. This applies to all Biscuit & Confections origins.
Partner with members of the Supply Planning leadership team to understand key initiatives and business process changes. Providing pertinent, accurate, timely and actionable information on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain related discipline.
Minimum of 2 yrs. of experience in a Supply Chain related discipline, APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) certification a plus.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong communication & collaboration skills.
