As part of our Corporate & Government Affairs (CGA) team, you'll shape and tell our company story and act as an advocate for growing our business responsibly. You will help build the Mondelēz International corporate brand and reputation, both globally and locally.
The Manager's role is to support the creation and implementation of the Mondelez International Foundation and Community Involvement's next generation of programs to drive the company's broader social impact; as well as help lead the company's Mindful Snacking platform. Manager will be responsible for overall day to day business of the Foundation. This includes on-going management of current partners and programs; interaction with Foundation external advisors; oversight of program renewals, new partner selection process and execution of grants; handling the Foundation budgeting process; and overseeing Foundation communications, working closely with corporate communication team. In addition, serve as project manager of Mindful Snacking platform, working closely with Sr. Director on development and launch of platform, including brand toolkit and promotion elements.
Mondelēz International Foundation management
Help create and execute an integrated philanthropic and community partnership strategy that align with company's Snacking Made Right impact initiatives in mindful snacking and sustainable snacking platforms.
o Identify and seek out new partners and programs that support impact strategy, working in collaboration with Sr. Director, members of the Foundation Board and Center of Excellence and sustainability teams; and, where relevant, CGA local teams in market
o Manage the recommendation and selection process for new partners, including Request for Proposal (RFP) process and equivalency determination vetting process
o Manage current Foundation healthy lifestyle community programs and partnerships, reviewing quarterly reports; and providing constructive feedback on their progress.
o Handle day-to-day contact with Foundation partners, as well as colleagues who help manage the programs in market
o Oversee renewal processes for partners and programs, including letter of intent, financial reviews, Foundation board approval and master agreement execution
Manage Foundation budget including issuance of grants, coordination with Finance for business annual Foundation contribution and tracking of invoices. Responsible for completing the year-end Financials report and the year-end charitable contributions report in coordination with the Associate Manager of Community Involvement for Foundation Board, Finance and external auditors. Serve as main point for the auditors, working with Community Involvement Coordinator in providing all documents and materials as requested. Oversee preparations for annual Foundation Board meeting, develops agenda and provides pre-read materials (e.g. Foundation summary report, financial reports, budget updates) Manage relationship with current and future Foundation external advisors, and board of directors Work in partnership with corporate communications team on developing strategic communication plan promoting Foundation programs and partners, as well as results and initiatives.
Mindful Snacking platform project management
Help bring Mindful Snacking consumer platform and programming to life across business and brands. Manage relationships with outside agencies and experts, as well as internal stakeholders (well-being business leads, public affairs, legal, nutrition and consumer insights team) to support program delivery Oversee and manage project timeline and deliverables, including workplans and project budget Minimum of 8-10 years of experience, preferably in non-profit /philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and community involvement/development management; with direct experience in proposal evaluation/review skills and working knowledge of generally accepted grant-making policies and regulations. Government relations and external affairs/communication experience a plus Ability to be flexible and adaptable, moving and managing projects with differing objectives, milestones and deliverables Excellent writing, verbal communication, organizational, and strategic-planning skills, including the ability to understand and articulate key corporate business issues. Demonstrated track record of effectively managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously while still paying close attention to detail and tight deadlines. Agile thought-leader with global insights into community, corporate citizenship and the how it drives business impact, with demonstrated ability to articulate strategies and big ideas that spurs innovation Knowledge of environmental and social sustainability issues, and global NGO capacities and ability to implement programs; and understand cultural and legal opportunities and barriers. Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans, with demonstrated ability to lead projects, take initiative, and manage external resources (i.e., agencies, designers, digital producers, photographers, technology vendors etc.). Familiarity with grant and budget management, including ability to read financial statements, develop budgets and review audited financial reports Experience working effectively with senior management; and managing multiple and diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business corporate social responsibility and/or NGO management. Corporate Responsibility Executive or philanthropic management certification or MBA a plus
