The Consumer & GWIM Expense Analytics team is part of the Consumer & GWIM Forecasting and Management Reporting organization supporting both LOB and Finance. The primary focus of our team is to support the expense management for Consumer channels and products. Our business partners include BFOs, GFC, GIF and Consumer/GWIM LOB partners. Key priorities for our team include expense analytics, month end close processes, expense and headcount forecasting and reporting, hierarchy maintenance, unit costing & allocations, as well as EST analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

The teammate in this role will be responsible for working closely with and supporting the Consumer channels and products. The primary focus of the role includes supporting direct expenses including: (1) Monthly close, forecasting, and reporting (2) establishment of expense accruals (3) business partnering with BFO's, LOB and supporting groups (4) supporting expense initiatives (5) and hierarchy maintenance support. This role also includes supporting total Consumer reporting for allocations and direct expenses, as well as involvement with the ABC costing process.

As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with BFOs supporting Consumer, meet regularly with LOB key contacts, and work directly with teammates. Throughout the tenure of the role the teammate will gain exposure and acumen across Consumer channels and products, and develop or improve the following skills: effective communication, financial acumen, leadership, and effective business partnering.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, accounting or finance preferred
  • Advanced Excel, modeling, data manipulation
  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Analytical Abilities / Financial Acumen - Systematic application of a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded logical conclusions. Understanding of accounting (debits / credits)
  • Builds Partnerships - Builds broad-based business relationships across the organization.
  • Strong business acumen
