Maintain the safety and security of the Tazewell County Jail and its inmates.
Must be 21 years of age, able to pass a written and physical test, medical exam, polygraph and psychological tests and any other test required by the department. You must be able to complete a five week Illinois State Basic Correctional Officer Training class and pass the final exam once hired.
Union position with paid vacations, holidays, sick days and pension.
