Job Description: Welder
Combined Technologies Group is a rapidly growing Robotic Automation and Special Machine Building company. We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals with strong work ethics, who take great pride in their work and have established both short and long term career goals relating to this field.
This position is for a “Highly Motivated” person; the opportunity to move up and advance (Team Leader, Shop Foreman and Manufacturing Manager) is not only possible but encouraged.
Responsible for turn-key fabrication of Automated/Robotic Equipment
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a Lead Welder
Blue print reading.
Fabricating structural steel and sheet metal weldments.
Tack welding and final welding.
Tape measure reading to the nearest 1/32”.
Comprehension of welding symbols.
Mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Understanding the related terminology.
Proper use of hand tools and equipment.
Steel cutting on horizontal / and vertical band saws from a cut list or drawing.
Laying out and drilling and tapping holes in the weldments.
Laying out and drilling and tapping holes in the weldments by hand drilling.
De-burring and proper hand grinding of welded parts.
Valid driver’s license.
Capable of lifting 70 lbs. without assistance.
Practice safe work environment skills.
Use correct safety equipment
Provide your own personal tools and welding PPE
