CNSI is seeking to hire a Senior Operations Manager with a comprehensive knowledge and experience in supporting day-to-day operational activities, excellent time management skills, and a proven track record of setting and meeting company goals to oversee the operations of multiple Federal programs. CNSI is looking for a candidate with leadership and managerial experience who can recruit and onboard new talent, allocate both human and material resources efficiently, communicate with all levels (including tier 1 support to executive and client management) and coordinate with other departments on time-sensitive projects.





  • Oversee all Operations Support activities and ensure the production environment is up and operational 24x7x365 (except for planned outages).
  • Establish Business Operations reporting aids to ensure the Operating Level Agreements (OLA) and contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the CNSI’s operations departments, executive management, and client staff for operations statuses, planned and unplanned downtimes, new projects/initiatives, etc.
  • Oversee release planning, design, development, system testing, UAT, and deployment milestones/activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Analyze performance of Operations Analyst activities, identify problem areas and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
  • Monitor incident trends and anticipate potential problems for proactive resolution.
  • Contribute to escalated problem resolution, when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce operational procedures and policies, and trainings, to operations team personnel.
  • Delegate and assign responsibilities, provide leadership and training to key personnel.
  • Participate in the development of a Contingency/Business Continuity Plan to support back-up plans for business operations in the event of a disaster/emergency.




  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  • Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
  • 4+ years of experience with implementing and conducting system and/or business operations for a large-scale medical claims processing organization.(healthcare/insurance industry preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience managing technical and operations teams and resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills; Comfortable in presenting to executive audiences.
  • Proficient in documentation tools such as MS-Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Strong personnel management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Accountable for Operations Support Analyst activities & maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Responsible for managing operations teams across departments to achieve company-wide goals.
  • Facilitating communication between several departments of a company that operate in the development process of a project.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring of Operations staff.  

Preferred Skills:


    • ITIL Foundation Certified (preferred)
    • PMP Certified (preferred)
    • Experience with Federal Government Projects
    • Experience with Public Sector Healthcare projects

  • Knowledgeable in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
